racing fees and rules.
SATURDAY, MAY 31 EVENTS
Southend Shopping Center
1181 Maryland Avenue, Hagerstown
Fees:
1) Entry fee is free for spectators
2) T-shirts are $20.00 each
3) Programs are $5.00 each or free with T-shirt
Generator: Available from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm
1) 70 kW
1) 2 240V outlets (NEMA 10-30 and NEMA 14-30)
2) 8 120V outlets
3) We may be able to add extra 240V outlets depending on the available
load.
AUTOCROSS
Fees: $25.00 per vehicle
Time: Starting time is 10:00 am and will go on into
the afternoon
Rules:
1) Must be a licensed driver
2) Open to EVs, hybrids and plug-in hybrids
2) Vehicle height must not exceed vehicle width
3) SCCA rules will be followed. SCCA has final rule on eligibility
Awards: Trophies for EVs and Hybrids (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
SHOW-N-SHINE
Fees: Free to all EVers and hybrids
Time: All Day
Rules:
1) If you are racing during the day the vehicle can still be part of
the Show-n-Shine
3) All EVs and hybrids are eligible
RANGE RALLY (This event is tentative)
Fees: $25.00 per vehicle
Time: 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Rules: Open to EVs and Hybrids
SUNDAY, JUNE 1 EVENTS
Drag Racing
Mason Dixon Dragway
Fees:
1) Spectators $10, children under 12 free
2) Racers $25
3) Bring your rain check from 2007
Times:
1) Gates open at 10:30 am
2) Racing begins at Noon and goes till about 4:30 pm
Rules:
1) Licensed drivers
2) Open to all EVs (cars and motorcycles) and Hybrids that pass NHRA
inspection, but only NEDRA members and EVs can obtain NEDRA records
3) All vehicles must pass NHRA inspection
Awards: For cars, trophies awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
in low voltage (120 volts and lower) and high voltage divisions (121
volts and higher). For motorcycles 1st, 2nd, 3rd (all voltages)
Lawless Motorcycle Challenge
Same as above with the following rules
Rules:
1) Licensed motocycle riders
2) Must be a current NEDRA Member (you can register at the event)
3) Open to all 2-wheel electric motorcycles (no extra fee)
4) Fastest ET in the 1/8 wins
Awards: $500 cash and a trophy

Racing will be taking place during Test and Tune Day so we will be
sharing the track with the gassers. We will be lining up on the right
side of the staging area. The gassers line up in rows of two on the
left. The track officials will be alternating between the EVs and the
gassers.
Race as many times as you like. We will have generators set up to charge
vehicles between runs.
Racing concludes at about 4:30 pm, followed by the awards ceremony
and our post race get together at Ledos in Hagerstown.
